Within the project, Collection and Analysis of Official Data on (non)existing Resources for the Deinstitutionalization of Persons with Mental Disabilities has been conducted, and based on it public release has been published, which you can find on the following link: https://imiboke.me/news/zabrinjavajuci-broj-osoba-sa-mentalnim-invaliditetom-zivot-provodi-u-institucijama.
On the day of World Mental Health Day IYDB organized a Focus Group with key actors to discuss their opinions about the results and further steps that can be taken for deinstitutionalization. Click here to read more about the Focus group:

Initiative of Youth with Disabilities of Boka – I MI Boke organized the Focus Group with people with mental disabilities placed in the Special Hospital for Psychiatry “Dobrota” Kotor.

The key findings from the Focus Group are that these persons with disabilities do not receive any invitation to vote, nor the information about the election process, except those presented on TV. The distribution of promotional materials is prohibited in the Hospital, and no representative of the political parties has visited them ever.
