Shailaja Tai (Tai is used as a term for respect and as an address for elder sister) having lived through deeply distressing life situations herself, leaves no stone unturned in extending care and support to other peers in her local community so that her peers are able to break the cycle of exclusion, and assert choice, agency and control in their own lives.
